Michael Anderson is a Partner at Mainsail Partners. He has spent twenty years as an investor in private companies.

Michael currently serves on the board of LinenMaster, Apptega, Boostlingo and Syncro. He formerly served on the board of Inspect Point, PeraHealth (acquired), Bio-Optronics (acquired by Advarra) and FairWarning (acquired by Imprivata).

Prior to joining Mainsail, Michael was a Principal at Summit Partners, a private equity and venture firm. Prior to Summit, Michael worked for Danaher Corporation, Onex Corporation, Nassau Capital and Gleacher Partners. Michael’s prior Board experience includes CareCentrix (acquired by Walgreens), Medspring Urgent Care (acquired by Fresenius), National Veterinary Associates (acquired by Ares) and Integrated DNA Technologies (acquired by Danaher).

Michael received an A.B. in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from Princeton University, where he was a member of the rowing team, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters in the outdoors.
