Mainsail Partners Overview

Mainsail Partners was founded in 2003 by Gavin Turner and C. Jason Payne.
Our senior professionals have over 70 years of investment and management experience. Our entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic and understanding of the challenges faced by executives uniquely position our firm as a valuable equity partner for growing companies.

Our Mission
Our mission is to invest in and partner with management teams of profitable, growing businesses to help build outstanding companies. We will create long-term value for shareholders and our investors through uncompromising dedication to our portfolio companies.

Our Values
At Mainsail Partners, we believe that integrity and a firm sense of ethics should be the foundation of all aspects of business. We pledge to treat entrepreneurs, intermediaries, our investors and our employees fairly and with respect. We will uphold a reputation for honesty, trustworthiness and hard work.

Our Investment Focus
Mainsail Partners invests exclusively in profitable, growing companies that have raised minimal outside capital to fund their operations. We look for these "bootstrapped" businesses to have strong management that we can support to help achieve continued growth and success. We will be the lead investor and serve on the Board of Directors.

Our Investment Philosophy
Our ultimate objective is to help our portfolio companies achieve long-term success. To that end, we are active partners in building our portfolio companies and are willing to roll up our sleeves to assist management in whatever manner necessary. Whether we are a minority or majority shareholder, our investment approach is unchanged: we believe that shareholder value creation should be achieved through profitable growth, not through financial engineering.
